First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley – Youth Coordinator

First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley is seeking qualified candidates to serve as their Youth Coordinator. The coordinator will develop and oversee programs that fulfill the church’s mission and ministry to youth, with a primary emphasis on the middle school (MS) students (5th-8th grades) in partnership with the Director of Youth and Family Ministries, staff, lay leaders, and volunteers.

Responsibilities include: Christian formation of middle school students through weekly programs; student and leader Mentoring; special Events coordination; church leadership and administration.

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree, theology studies or related field preferred; two or more years of prior experience working and volunteering with young people at church; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Publisher.

Position reports to the Director of Youth and Family Ministry.
