Greetings Presbytery of San Francisco!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer filled with moments of fun and relaxation. It has been a busy summer for the presbytery since the 220th General Assembly met in Pittsburgh. Blessings to all those who are preparing for September and kids going back to school.
Our next presbytery meeting will be September 11 at First Presbyterian Church in Concord. I want to highlight some things of interest as well as some changes:
- There will be two Open Space sessions provided. Check out the different conversations and topics to choose from as well as the Open Space guidelines.
- While the General Assembly Commissioners will be sharing their experience during Open Space, there will also be an overall report as well. Come and check out what they have been up to.
- Worship will be led by Greg Murai from Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church and the sermon will be by Rabbi Judy Shanks. Liturgists will be our General Assembly Commissioners.
- For dinner, you will be invited to check out the many restaurants located in close proximity to the church. A list will be provided at the presbytery meeting. If you wish to remain at the church during dinner, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BROWN BAG DINNER.
As you can tell, there is a lot at this meeting. See you all September 11 at Concord.
