Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church
I pray blessings on all of my friends and colleagues in the Presbytery of San Francisco during this season of Lent.
As I said at our meeting in January, there are a lot of new things ahead this year. Our next meeting is on March 12th at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church and everyone should put this one on your calendars. We will be having a special guest, The Rev. Dr. Neal Presa, pastor of Middlesex Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Presbytery (NJ), and moderator of the 220th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Neal will be hosting an open space (“Conversation with the GA Moderator”) at both session times and he will be leading worship at our service immediately following dinner. He originally hails from the Presbytery of San Francisco so please join me in giving Neal a real warm welcome.
There are several other topics to be discussed during the open space time including the proposed constitutional amendments that we will be voting on at the evening Plenary.
This will be a great meeting and I want to thank Geoff, Tom, and Dave and the rest of the Moraga staff and many volunteers for their hospitality. And, I look forward to seeing you all there.
