First Presbyterian Church of Newark is looking for qualified applicants for their part-time worship music leader. The Worship Music Leader will lead the singing at our Sunday morning 9:30am worship service. This person will coordinate the worship music with the pastor and our AV team. This is a part time job. It will be 10 hours/week at $35/ hour.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Has a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Has the ability to lead people in singing contemporary (and if possible traditional) songs.
  • Has the ability to play at least one instrument to lead the singing.
  • Has at least 3 years of church experience leading worship singing.
