Sturge Presbyterian Church is seeking qualified candidates for Music Worship Leader. This is a part-time position requiring approximately four hours a week. Sturge is looking for a spiritual worship leader, who can inspire the congregation to sing together, with the support of either piano or organ. Compensation will be $150 – $190 per Sunday service, depending on experience.
Areas of responsibility include the ability to plan, organize, and lead the music and worship components of a weekly Sunday service, as well as special holiday services. The candidate should also be able to choose praise songs, hymns or other musical selections based on sermon titles and scripture.
Desired Skill Set includes vocal talent, as well as strong musical experience with organ, piano, or keyboard instruments.
