Join us this Spring on Wednesdays for a book study with Rev. Kamal Hassan. The book study will explore the text as a way of investigating the Presbyterian Church’s 19th-century involvement in the ideas and practices of slavery in America and how that involvement is affecting its relationship with Black people in and outside of the denomination today.

Summary of Study: This study will explore the text as a way of investigating the Presbyterian Church’s 19th-century involvement in the ideas and practices of slavery in America and how that involvement is affecting its relationship with Black people in and outside of the denomination today.

Format: This is a weekly course that will include both small and large group conversations. There will be weekly reading assignments from the core text and journal reflection writing.
