Class Description: Our society seems to be falling apart at the seams. Marriage, children, work, politics, ethics, the economy, the environment are all in crisis. The institutional church is declining along with society, and our pastoral work seems to revolve around trying to keep the church from completely falling apart. How do we minister to the people still in our pews or with us digitally and who are increasingly in crisis? How do we do such effective healing ministry that new people will want to visit and be a part of a lifegiving church? These are the questions we will address in our training together. The goal is to be better equipped to offer effective counsel and presence for the urgent spiritual care that people today are desperately looking for.
